About SKW

Special Kids Wish (SKW) is a division of United Special Sportsman Alliance, Inc. (USSA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit national wish-granting charity that specializes in sending kids with special needs on free outdoor adventures. SKW activities and events give families something to look forward to while enjoying the wonders of our natural world!

SKW is composed of a 100% volunteer staff from all walks of life, bonded together by a common love for our fellow mankind and a deep respect and appreciation of our world's natural resources. By working cooperatively with our caring supporters, corporate and individual financial sponsors, SKW has made a significant impact on the lives of thousands of children and their families.

We're a 501(c)(3) charity staffed by an all- volunteer group of mentors from all walks of life. Our one and only mission is to fulfill outdoor wishes for kids with special needs, absolutely free of charge.

SKW will be holding its annual Winterfest event in central Wisconsin on January 17th, 2015. There will be ice fishing, tubing, sled riding, and arts and crafts.

Our donors' dollars help us meet our numerous operational expenses and fund our large scale group events. Your support also subsidizes the kids' travel, lodging, meals, and other outdoor adventure expenses.
